love yr liver tincture
Ingredients: organic Schisandra berry, organic Milk thistle seed, organic Oregon grape root, organic Dandelion root, organic Turmeric root, organic cane alcohol, & filtered water
Uses:
Nourishes & supports healthy liver function and overall liver maintenance ~ either for daily purposes or during the times of increased metabolic demand
Promotes healthy liver enzyme activity and production
Work with this tincture to boost liverβs natural detoxification and metabolic processes
Encourages a healthy regeneration and renewal of liver cells
Plant Actions:
Milk thistle seed contains silymarin, a plant constituent that supports liver protection and regeneration. It has also been shown to increase glutathione content in the liver.
Schisandra berry is a deeply restorative liver tonic that also offers stress-protective support, including strength, work capacity, and mental alertness.
Hawthorn leaf contains oligomeric procyanidin (OPCs), a plant constituent that protects the liver from alcohol damage, fat accumulation, and inflammation. Procyanidins are shown to support liver enzyme induction and the metabolic processes in the liver.
Oregon grape root contains berberine, and I love working with the whole plant rather than an isolated berberine extract. It supports liver health when there is inflammation and congestion and encourages healthy movement and clearance of blood.
Dandelion root & Turmeric root offer anti-inflammatory actions while supporting healthy liver enzyme production.
Suggested Use:
Take 2β3 full dropperfuls 1x daily for daily liver maintenance, or 2x daily for some serious additional attention and care for your liver.
I work with this tincture as a prep for my liver on the day or before consuming alcoholic drinks or dabbling in high-expenditure activities and then again afterwards.
My favorite way to take this is to put all the droppers in that small, pretty glass or ceramic cup (thatβs been gathering dust in your cabinets) or a shot glass, fill with a little water, and down that shit like you would a shot in a dive bar during your college days.
Other helpful things for the liver: Black Earth ~ caffeine-free herbal coffee for additional liver support & Happy Belly tea to improve digestion and practice a holistic approach
1-oz or 2-oz tincture blend in an amber-colored glass Boston round bottle with a black dropper top
